They need to fix how their AI Chat works. I could not for the life of me get it to edit files when using a local model with LM studio. It gave me the correct code to change. There is no Code mode when connecting to LM studio with a local model.

I couldn't find how to change the mode without it trying to use Junie, or claude etc. very frustrating.

Hi, on this, I can promise (as a daily user) that our OpenCode and Pi support are really good. And with those, it's really easy to connect to LM Studio...in fact, I did this for the DeepLearning.AI course on hybrid/local models.

Can you do this for the keyboard too lol My biggest gripe is switching one device to use a different computer doesn’t automatically switch the other. The hot spots and keyboard shortcuts never seem to work properly.

I’d like to press the computer 2 on my keyboard and the mouse changes too.

Also, can't you tie a key to a domain or IP address to help stop unauthorized usage?

Not if its publicly called from Javascript, as your user's browser will make those requests. You neither know their IP addresses, nor is the referer or origin header a safe choice as it can be spoofed outside of a browser.

there are plenty of API keys distributed like this by design. For example, google maps requires this, else your (anonymous) users can't use an embedded google map on your website. And a public firebase app needs some kind of API key, too.
