Watch this and despair

I was amazed that some friends of mine hated In Bruges (after I'd been praising it to the skies). Didn't expect that reaction and it made me much more cautious about recommending films to people.

Had the same experience, I think it's a brilliant movie and my friends thought I was an idiot for wasting their time.

I didn't recommend Banshees to them, that's for sure.

You will probably enjoy The Lobster.

Loved the Lobster, was indifferent about Bruges, detested The Banshees of Inisherin

I don't think liking on suggest anyone would like the other 2

Yeah sure. But they're all very similar if you think about it; same clueless, innocent role played by Colin Farrel, with the same flat and dark humor.

Ta. You might like Wild Tales. It's on prime and in Spanish with subtitles. My son and his mates loved it too.

You need better friends. ;)

Ha. No they're great. Just different in that respect :-)

Good news everyone!

Glad I'm not the only one who had to double check the name...

Yeah, I read this headline wrong three times

It wasn't until I searched the article for the word Futurama to quickly check what the relationship to the show was, that I noticed my search only matched in the comments and not the title.

I didn't even realize it wasn't Futurama until your comment.

Thanks for the tip - I'm going there for a weekend later this year

“Eddies,” said Ford, “in the space-time continuum.”

“Ah,” nodded Arthur, “is he? Is he?”

Apparently, yes.

Yep. Go with that and the solar system has room for trillions of people.

If we invent practical fusion power by then, we can also spread out into the Oort Cloud.

Amusing autocorrect ;-)
