Sounds like it was handled better than the authors last article where the Arc browser company initially didn't offer any bounty for a similar RCE, then awarded a paltry $2k after getting roasted, and finally bumped it up to $20k after getting roasted even more.

It breaks my heart to share this news with you. Here's what you need to know about the future of Pilot Debrief:
As many of you know, I have poured a lot of effort into this channel over the past year to make it what it is today. I rely on YouTube ad revenue from these videos to compensate me for the countless hours that I spend researching, filming, and editing. Ad revenue is what this channel runs on because I try to avoid sponsored videos and in fact have only done a sponsored video once on the channel.
YouTube was paying me as an individual and recently I created an LLC for the payments to go to for tax purposes. I followed YouTube's instructions for doing this and even confirmed those details with my assigned YouTube Partner Program manager (yes, some channels have a dedicated person at YouTube that they can ask questions).
Last Friday, I submitted the request to change my account from individual to the LLC. Google disapproved the request and YouTube subsequently demonetized my entire channel.
YouTube refused to provide the reason why my account change request was disapproved. I was told to apply again in 32 days. All of my videos are currently demonetized. Additionally, all of my earnings from last month are being held in escrow and if my account isn't approved when I apply in 32 days then I will forfeit all of those earnings as well.
As much as I love making these videos, because of the effort involved and some of the costs associated with making them, it's not something I can do for free. I'm praying that YouTube will fix this ASAP but I'm doubtful of that.
There will NOT be a video this weekend and possibly not one next weekend either. If the issue isn't resolved, I'm not sure what direction the channel will go.
