We've been working super hard to bring Superhuman to every platform. We started with Gmail, on the web. We then added macOS, followed by iOS. Last year we launched Outlook, and earlier this year we launched Windows. Today, we are launching Superhuman for Android.

We've now built an email client from scratch several times over, with an emphasis on performance each time. Many mistakes made and lessons learned along the way. AMA!

I can attest that the "infinite slog" thing is at least partially true :P

This is why, incidentally, that in productivity you need to raise surprising amounts of money. (Or grow revenue super fast, if you can. But then you'll raise a surprising amount of money anyway.)

"Rebuilding the email experience"

are you rebuilding tool (or could you program your tool) as RFS #28 ~ http://old.ycombinator.com/ideas.html & http://paulgraham.com/ambitious.html

Both, actually. Rebuilding the tool, but also making it programmable :)

thx @rahul, going for hacker market is a good move, be watching it.

Hi, i think your iOS engineer link on angel list is broken. Also are you open to hiring from outside the U.S?

Since Jason gets a lot of flak (not that he cares):

Jason was one of the first and most helpful investors in Rapportive (YCS10, acq LinkedIn). He believed in us when there was no obvious reason to.

Jason was one of the first investors I went back to for Superhuman. (He negotiated hard, but then so do I — that's just part of each side getting what they want.)

I'd work with Jason again in a heartbeat for my next company.

Superhuman?? what a brand!

Wait until you see the product -- it's AWESOME. I've been using it for two weeks and I'm addicted. I think this will be 100x bigger than Rapportive! excited for it!
