What a great service!

The patent rider is a liability and needs be checked by legal. In my company that alone will take months. I don't wan't to delay my project so will use Polymer.

checkout udacity, they have a bunch of machine learning courses and also give general skills and prerequisites: https://www.udacity.com/me#!/

Thanks for this! I added a preview to the background now :)

yeah, it's only for twitter users - the code is open source, added the github ribbon, so you can check what it does - just reads your tweets and discards the ones without images...

What if you isolate only the tweets with images from your twitter feed? I find there are a ton of great posts I would have otherwise overlooked when scanning my feed like this.

Also check it out on ProductHunt: http://www.producthunt.com/posts/picfeed

Interesting, I am building a filter for twitter, and one of the things I want to filter OUT are actually pictures, especially instagram. Other offenders are tweets without links, tweets full of hashtags, or vanity retweets.

I'd love to have statistics about what different people use twitter for, especially those who read HN, for me it's a way to get realtime news.

Maybe you should have worked a bit on the landing page. Maybe the background - with a bit of a blur - to have a glimpse of how the app really looks like - or at least some description.

good point, I put one up now.

Now that looks better. You still have to work a bit more on it I think -but it's an improvment. GG

Very nice, especially the ProtectedAccess layer. Are you guys still using flight.js on your front end?

At the moment flight is still used on the Search page, but we're moving towards React. Have a look at Spike's slide deck on the evolution of Airbnb's frontend here: http://www.slideshare.net/spikebrehm/the-evolution-of-airbnb...

don't waste your money on conferences, they are super expensive and the best talks will land on the internet. Unless u need them for networking - but even then you can just go to free meetups.

totally agree pluralsight is great, they've been on a spending spree and bought my two favourite sites:

codeschool.com and peepcode.com

That said, why don't you do a Nanodegree from Udacity? https://www.udacity.com/nanodegree

The founder is a Googler and they partner with allot of great companies for their courses.

Also great is https://frontendmasters.com/ for anything JavaScript

I'm working on multiple ideas. haven't cracked the 1000/month yet, but have put together a common repo I use as a starting point for all my projects. It recently got featured on the Google Developers Channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_7zdqz01sk&list=PL2fzhe-bAE...
