Glass recycling is very efficient, but manufacturing new glass is just cheaper. So without a government subsidy, it's usually not worth it for the recycling plant.

I don't see the efficiency claim if we're talking about glass that's used just once

that why the comment was about "Glass recycling"

Do they dogfood these updates internally like Google does with Android and Chrome OS?

For some reason, "view source" gets the right list. Maybe a referer issue like someone else said.

It seems sort of questionable to use the list of things to not scrape as a starting point for scraping.... I mean, I get it's not actually enforced.

Not really sure why all the answers here are flagged, but you may be mistaken.

The robots.txt does not exclusively list what not to scrape.

It provides information on which parts are allowed and wich are not (disallowed).

It also provides sitemaps for crawlers as a starting point with more information (eg. which sites are available and how often are they updated, etc.)

Since ~2009 many crawlers recognize "Sitemap:" directives in robots.txt to link to sitemaps: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robots.txt#Sitemap

How do I run this/see the results? I'm a little lost.

Same here. I hit "run" but get an error

Because it's all just types, there's nothing _to_ run. Instead, you'll want to hover your cursor over the `PGunX` types at the end of the file in the playground; this will cause the TS editor to compute that type and it should display a string corresponding to the board state.

I know, I thought it was a mistake but then I literally laughed out loud once I understood.

I don't disagree with you but I did find the linked article very interesting to read absent any context.

> Social media communities really ought to observe a [...] rule

Oh honey....

Feasibility and wisdom are unrelated.

I just saw an IG post from a collab between a prominently irreverent burger popup in my town, and one of the most progressive wine bars in the city. It had a security guard kicking out a rowdy woman from a bar.

The comments BLEW UP with people who had never had the burgers or been to the bar calling out the "cop culture" and the celebration of authoritarianism in the photo.

It's a joke at this point, how angry people get at things that have the barest tinge of something to be mad about.

(to be fair, it also gets power from the buttons)

It looks really cool and I'd love to play it but I don't have a Windows PC. Any chance you have plans to make it available on Linux/Steam Deck?

Works fine under proton for me - have you turned on the steam option to use a compatibility layer for games that haven't been tested?

It runs with that option but trees don't render properly so it's not perfect.

I did not know about that option!
