I have a leather Leap, Embody (every option), Aeron (every option; upgrade).

I can agree, it's probably the better of these 3 I have. It's a tank and Steelcase told me it doesn't come apart and it's shipped assembled. My favorite part is that it reclines instead of rocking.

All my others have been posted already, except:

Shadows of the Empire [0]

When I read it the intriguing parts were that it took place between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Also, I still play and love the game on N64 (also on PC and on GOG). I never thought I would read and actually enjoy a Star Wars book. Dash Rendar is eternally burned into my memory and my favorite Star Wars character of all time now. I think I need to read this again after typing this. Even my dad liked it and he is not into Star Wars.

I have a MacBook Pro 15", which is too big and actually pretty much resent and hate.

an iPad Pro 11" which I absolutely love, but is abysmal and no where near any good for coding on.

And currently eyeing that MacBook Air with a massive 2TB, 16GB, and i7 option for still less than the lowest end 16" MacBook Pro and just barely more than the stock 13" high end MacBook Pro.

How so?

Intermittent fasting is basically skipping breakfast for most people. Wake up late or sleep in a little extra, maybe make some coffee, go to work or school. Something most teenagers and college students do or have been doing for years. My self included as I much prefer extra sleep. I've some how been doing fasting since grade school and didn't even know it was controversial, disordered, or even called fasting until recently. My dad, who has done multiples of marathons and even Iron Man triathlons never ate breakfast and usually not lunch either. He seems fine and no one ever mentioned he had disordered eating.

Eating real food, having a preference towards certain real foods you like (some people just like more meat or eggs instead of fruit or potatoes or rice) and not being overly gluttonous is some how disordered eating. I don't buy that.

If it’s really that simple why are people who practice IF seemingly incapable of talking about anything else?

This is what I plan to do. I am trying to patiently wait for the Asus ROG version. It appears to have been delayed and there are 2 versions. One with a tripod and one with a typical iPad/tablet stand built into the cover. I'm mostly wanting it for console gaming because I don't want to get a TV or put another monitor on my desk. I also live in a small studio apartment that I can only fit my desk and bed in. This can be used on my desk or sitting in my bed even and will just slip right into my backpack if I wanted.

Almost exactly same situation with exactly same salary. I work at a bootstrapped startup.

4-5 years doesn't sound significant to me.

I still have an iPhone 6, bought new nearly the day it was released. It plays music, it does podcasts. I can text, answer calls.

It's no longer supported by Apple.

I was planning on upgrading to the iPhone 11 Pro this year, but my current phone still does what it needs to do and does it well enough. It's a little slow though.

Quora, Pinterest, and Instagram have been mentioned already, but I'd like to throw another one in this bucket: Amazon

And all paywall sites. Combine this with the ability to hide all paid ads in search too (the flat-out ads that look more and more like results as the years go by), and there’s something I’d pay for. Maybe they could bundle it in with my YouTubeRed subscription? Hmmm...

Maybe this isn't the place to post this, but it's been on my mind, especially with the recent release of Catalina, iOS 13, and iPadOS and this post made me recall.

With the hiring bar and exercises like FAANG put candidates through, one would expect if it's working well, why are the products, software, getting worse? I would think they would get more talented, educated, and smart engineers.

It seems like it's the opposite though. Catalina has to be the most bug ridden macOS I recall (I've been using macOS since 9), same goes for iOS 13/iPadOS. Not to mention the included software applications such as iTunes, Podcasts, ... I've read similar problems with Windows and Android, so I don't think it's only happening at Apple and I don't mean to specifically call out Apple, but that's the ecosystem I spend the most time with.

I feel as if the software quality should be improving. It would have less bugs, be more efficient, and run faster. I feel as if it's not though. It seems like it gets worse. This seems to be a problem with modern games too.

Great question, but off topic. I think it would be a great Ask HN though. That said, why don't I just pile on here: yeah Catalina - what a steaming pile.... :)

Can you please provide your plan and outline to get through it in a week that you used? From my experience if doing all the exercises a chapter a week is still a challenge.
