I smell a sales pitch in there somewhere...

Looks like a very cool product, one I might be interested in buying -- totally depending on price, for which you don't seem to be supplying any clues.

$999 for early access! We just launched at SXSW, and will begin shipping later this year. Via our website we’re offering the $999 early access pricing for a refundable $99 deposit today. Once we enter distribution we’re expecting to increase pricing to $1299

$999 if you pre-order. Normally $1,299.

Um, "normalization of violent rioting?" Violent rioting in America has occurred ever since this country was founded. In fact, it was founded by a very violent riot. Not to condone violence, but it seems to be a regular part of the American experience, and either deplored or cheered on depending on which side you're on.

When I hear someone pegging the "normalization" or beginning of something to an arbitrary year, I just read that as "This is about the year when I started to become aware of the world around me, but not its history."

something something "the tree of liberty must from time to time be refreshed with the blood of tyrants and patriots..."

If she hadn't thought of it before, she's thinking about it now.

That seems to be already happening -- Canada is not removing its countermeasures in response to Trump's gamesmanship. The art of the deal indeed.

The universe is boundless, but our planet turns out to be pretty small. If we foul our nest, or overextract resources, the planet and the universe will be just fine, but us humans not so much.

If you actually read TFA, they don't single out DeepSeek. Rather, the claim is that all 'chain-of-thought' models have this vulnerability. Obviously, you'll get a lot more clicks if you mention DeepSeek in the headline.

Impressive videos of ascending a ladder, but no videos of descending

Obviously for urbanites only. Here in Northern California, grass is a conspicuous waste of water, and is slowly going out of favor and being replaced by native xerophilic plants. Our neighbor has a lawn, but we've got wood chips and native shrubs instead.

If we all acknowledge that nature is an antidote to anxiety, why not consider moving out of the city?

It's just Paxton. He loves to launch investigations into any hot-button topic, preceded (and followed) by many press conferences and photo ops. Especially if he can somehow tie it to the vast left-wing conspiracy.
