I use a google spreadsheet. Shortcut on my phone home screen so I can add items any time easily.

I log all my lab work and how many hours I've worked in a day and it calculates my hours in a separate tab automatically. Items I need to follow up on are in bold, and get unbolded when I've followed up on them. When I have to write a report, everything is there in chronological order and it is super easy to take the relevant lines and write out the path of my work. When I get into the lab, I open my sheet and bam! I'm right where I left off before I can have the first sip of coffee.

This has been a complete game changer for me.

I've never been so organized in my life.

And if you aren't already doing this, you can set up a Google Form for mobile that asks for input and then puts the data into the spreadsheet. I do this for exercise tracking and it works great.

You can find Bill Atkinson's open-source instructions for Jaguar (5-MeO-DMT) Vape Pens from a link here: https://boingboing.net/2025/07/10/apples-bill-atkinson-creat...

I think this paper is about N,N-DMT. 5-MeO is a different beast. Although I've run across N,N in vape pen form so this is still a relevant delivery mechanism.

In terms of ergonomics pens can't be beat, though if you'd rather go from 0 to escape velocity on a single hit, "the machine" is the way to go (https://wiki.dmt-nexus.me/The_Machine)

Oh wow! I think I found part of the problem. I replied earlier about algorithmic accountability, and the need for Algorithm Impact Assessments, and I got a snarky reply and down voted like I've never seen before. I guess accountability hits a nerve.

So I'll just say...

Algorithm Impact Assessments

Algorithm Impact Assessments

Algorithm Impact Assessments

I down voted you because this is a stupid idea which wouldn't do anything for accountability. There's no need for algorithm impact assessments. I don't want my tax dollars wasted on more bureaucratic garbage. It would end up being totally politicized and subjective because there's no consensus on impacts.

Thank you for the confirmation.

Algorithmic Accountability. Not just for AI, but also social media, advertising, voting systems, etc. Algorithm Impact Assessments need to become mandatory.

Sounds like a great way to make jobs for a bunch of talkers and parasites.

Oh wow! I was just thinking the other day about a similar design to build for my second-hand clothing stores where we have a lot of lint that is constantly clogging HVAC systems that I maintain.

I'd like to create laminar-flow across the floor so all the dust travels to one wall for easy sweeping and also capture dust in a vortex system tucked away in the basement.

I remember a project I did in undergrad with Prolog that would fit connecting parts of theoretical widgets together based on constraints about how different pieces could connect and it just worked instantly and it felt like magic because I had absolutely no clue how I would have coded that in Pascal or COBOL at that time. It blew my mind because the program was so simple.

Whoa! Fortran! I was not expecting that. I'll have to clear off some very dusty brain cells to understand this.

Awesome!

I used similar software to create this piece... https://youtu.be/HT0HH_fc4ZU

I look forward to giving this a whirl.

The big ah-ha! moment is finding a hidden service spec sheet hidden inside the door control panel. That sheet reveals a lot of useful information that should just be in the owner's manual.

I'm so glad to have watched that to know that this is not what to do.

Their fail is my time saver.
