For context here: Löve is a well known Lua game library. I was assuming the ä here was inspired by that. The domain though of the project is in fact supposed to be called “Tänzer” should be “taenzer”.
Yeah that was my experience (not the seal clubbing) with my Model X in Europe in 2019. Great for the daily commute, never had to hit a gas station but on longer trips it's more planning. Sales of Teslas definitely increased faster than the charging network expanded, so while I never had to wait in 2019, the situation was different in 2022. Now I'm back at 13mpg and similar bhp. Still have good memories of the Tesla but in the states distances are longer and I just can't haul an RV with an EV. Even small trailers have quite the range impact.
Totally agree but at least I don't know more about how long this has been developing for and what attempts have been made at curing it - if this is indeed the intention...
There's a thread here suggesting the idea that it's a stunt to get extort more money from donors. While I wouldn't go quite as far, I think it's undeniable that there's a rift between long time users of Mozilla products and their current strategies (or at least their tactics if they don't have a strategy).
I still believe Firefox is the best browser out there, mainly because they've resisted the temptation to take ad blocking APIs away but having to disable all suggested xyz, save to cloud, experiments, user metrics, ... Just takes a while and leaves you with little trust.
I feel a good desire to fork the browser (ff or one of its forks) to be able build it for myself with a set of debloat patches. Just to avoid worrying about tracking and the "sell your data" stuff.
Yes, pleaaaase! Just make sure it's audible for most people.
Otherwise one trick that works well is insulting the caller. Computers tend to react quite differently from humans.
J/k, don't do it (if you're not certain that your insulting a bot.)
Generally agree with you but I'm not going to clutter my project's .gitignore with stuff that's in the responsibility of the user to keep in their own ignore list like .DS_Store.
E.g. Each js project gets a /.npm /node_modules, each py proj a .pyc etc...
Editor is generally one per project which checked in config (.vscode) and if you want to use vim, have your own rules for ~ which you likely have anyway.
Also, both are not exclusive: .env can be checked in and in .gitignore
