Here's one (besides CR & asyousow tests) from 2022 from the ConsumerLab

"Competing interest statement:

Dr. Esteller declares past grants from Ferrer International and Incyte and personal fees from Quimatryx and Eucerin, outside the submitted work."

I was tickled that Eucerin was announced, as they make primarily skin lotion. I wonder if this is a long-term play to bolster their anti-aging product line.

If a cynical cosmetics company is trying to get us all to live longer so that we buy their skin-care product that's something id consider a win-win scenario & wish them all the best!

Or you can use Dillo browser with the gopher plugin

That's interesting. I'm using the Adguard from the Edge store, so I still have custom filters enabled. Seems only people using the Chrome store version have been updated with that change. Also sounds like Adguard is purposefully not pushing the latest version to the Edge store to avoid issues like this.

They did say they'll get the issue resolved in time. I use another extension that requires a filter list or things start to go haywire. I'd probably give up that problematic extension before going back to Firefox.

Reading that, I am still sticking with Adguard over uBO because it does sound like they are at least trying to implement these things. uBO is just pointing people towards FF.

Oh no! Thanks for the info. I'm assuming Edge on Android has all the crappy tracking and dark patterns of the desktop version?

FF mobile has mv2 support, as does its many forks.

Yes. I used Firefox on Android for a long time, but I was annoyed by the performance and inability to save page as MHTML (that's a very niche peeve).

Depending on how long ago that was, it might be worth checking back in with it. It had a complete rewrite a few years back and it's now just as good as chrome mobile - I use IronFox, but there are also a few other forks.

Still doesn't do mhtml though.

"Preventive and Therapeutic effects of Metformin in Cancer: A Meta-Analysis of RCT and Cohort Studies"

https://www.eurekaselect.com/article/145997

Conclusion: Metformin does not significantly prolong the overall survival and progressive-free survival of cancer patients, but it may effectively reduce the risk of cancer occurrence.

Thanks. Prevention is always better than a cure!
