I can fully recommend it too. Now I shudder whenever I have to use phpmyadmin.

Regardless of what you're searching for, it is a really nice site and very functional. Yes all other torrent sites are hideous and full of horrible spammy adverts pretending to be download buttons (so I'm told), but this one is nice and clean, has a gorgeous UI, and makes great use of movie art in the design.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! Glad you like it. We really love movies, hope it shows.

Save meetings for Friday afternoon catchup. No-one works well on Friday afternoons

I am in same position where most of my team comes in during different parts of am time. Would it be effective to have daily status meetings right around lunch or at end of the day? Suggestions are welcome.

Are you in the UK? Maybe they don't use cookies for uk users as we aren't shown adverts since we pay via the license fee.

I'm in the UK - I still get the message, but no mention of advertising.

"We use cookies to ensure that we give you the best experience on our website. If you continue without changing your settings, we'll assume that you are happy to receive all cookies on the BBC website. However, if you would like to, you can change your cookie settings at any time."

-----

that would make some sense, but there would still be cookies for tracking what you see...

-----

Follow up, I just saw the cookie disclaimer the other day and I'm in the uk

Your kid wants the latest toy- download the design and print. Christmas retail supply issues sorted.

Hopefully in the future, the basic 3d printer will go beyond plastics and allow printing from some hardier durable material (nanotubes maybe), then you'll be able to pretty much download a design and print anything.

Why not just use a cup more than once during the day without washing? I go through at least 7 cups of coffee a day in a single mug; only washing that's done is just before the first of the day.

Practically useless for web design as the large majority or sites are tall, not wide.

Can't remember what the shortcut is (been on the mac bandwagon for 5 years) but it definitely works in XP as I was doing that for years. Maybe File > New Window or something like that.

-----

"Looking for free, reliable cloud storage?Dropbox offers 2GB, while SugarSync gives you 5GB. "

I would rather pay a very measly $5 a month for 50GB for the reliability that the company I use has a stable business model and is likely to be around in 2 years time.

-----

They're not some kind of overnight start-up, they've been around since long before Dropbox.

-----

Are you referring to stable business model dropbox whovery recently had a retarded grade A fuck up where anyone can access your data. If you stick to the reassuringly expensive theme you better grab another Stella Artois.

-----

Why? Is it too much hassle to take two minutes to install another program if they go under?

-----

Box has been around since 2005.

Get the hacker news app. It gives a very nice view of HN, plus you can send stuff to Instapaper for reading later.
