Speaking from experience... apartment numbers are one of the most difficult things to process correctly when geocoding, particularly if your service is backed by Google. The experience you describe sounds exactly like someone didn't correctly handle the edge cases surrounding subunit numbers.

I spent quite some time banging my head against these issues for a former employer. Lots of trial-and-error was employed to build up a basket of test cases around apartments. Certain addresses remained intractable.

In my experience the campaigners are instructed by the officials running the voting site what that radius is and stay outside of it.

How does that respond to middle-mouse-clicks? I use that for open-in-new-tab functionality all the time. There's no need to chord the mouse and keyboard together for it. Right-click->context menu is the same way.

From my experience, middle mouse clicks do not trigger the handler. Here's a fiddle to test: http://jsfiddle.net/GTWfn/. Try middle-clicking that link vs. left clicking.

My WRT54G is still going strong. I run the `tomato` firmware on it, and haven't had to mess with the configuration in years. If only the rest of my hardware could be as reliable.

I've easily burned through 8GB of memory when I'm crunching numbers on large-ish datasets in Octave. (And through twice that when I had a bug in said Octave code...)

I have seen test rigs where the button switches are in series with an LED - the LED lights essentially instantly, and it is very obvious on-camera when that circuit is closed.

The implication is that it is more important to adjust one's perception of the actions of others than it is to alter the actions of others.

I installed a new Win7 partition last week. Yep, almost exactly 2GB memory usage at start. This was a clean Win7 Pro, no third-party crapware installed.

I played that port so much back when I was in college in that time frame. The VR missions too. Great stuff.

I find that, in Settlers of Catan, if you're winning - it's skill. It's only luck when you're losing ;)
