A little over a year ago I did an experiment. I had coded up a small rich client web app in Clojure + Clojurescript (which I love, and use a lot!). I then spent the same time rewriting in Meteor, except that I ended up spending much less time and got a lot more functionality in the Meteor version.
I really recommend that you try it.
I hope for really good Clojurescript support in Metoer. I tried it last week, the Clojurescript support only supported older Meteor 0.9* versions, and I had problems. It is on my radar to keep checking the Clojurescript support. I also tried the TypeScript Meteor support, but didn't spend much time with it.
