But he doesn't mention a lot about alternatives. Of course we could try to avoid having a single solution for everything but if there is no better option right now then REST can and should be used. If his point was to say that REST only works in some limited circumstances then he should have said what those were and, again, what other option we have for the other cases. I still think REST works for a lot of things but you might want to add some extra tips or standards within an organization.
