You know... when you tell me that you get the text "masturbating "mother-in law" hidden -torrent" included on the page and want to know if others get the same behavior, I completely ignore your original question and focus on trying to repro that behavior so that I could open that url on a co-worker's computer and have a little fun...

Yeah, that's exactly what I get. It's very odd...

There's something really weird going on... for example, visit http://www.scribd.com/doc/304918/Science-of-Shopping-Malcolm... and you'll see that the search box is filled in with "decompression zone Paco Underhill"

My guess is that Scribd is scraping the search keywords when people hit Scribd and after some threshold they are deciding to autofill the search box based on them. Not sure why they'd do this, but... it does open itself up to a hack if I were so inclined.

Also visit http://www.scribd.com/doc/31301/10-Traits-That-Make-You-a-Gr... and the search box is filled in with "how to fuck your girlfriend while shes asleep tips"

Probably more of their questionable SEO google index spamming.

Perhaps they've fixed it. I now see only "Search All Documents..." in the search box.

Yes, they appear to have fixed it. Interesting, I guess someone from Scribd read my post... I wonder what caused that.
