Or OpenGL graphics programmers who find the state of drivers under Linux, while a lot better than years ago, still sub-optimal compared to Windows...

Do you really think gaming on Linux would become mainstream without functioning drivers? In this hypothetical situation, I don't think that will be a concern.

I'm curious. What do the OpenGL graphic programmers do? Program games or software?
