A new customer wants to pay us in Crypto. We use Stripe, a regular dollar account, never done crypto before. Worth it? doable? any gotchas I should be aware of (tax, banking, tooling, risk)?
Tax and banking will depend entirely on your country. If the amount is low, it’s not going to be worth it to you for everything around it. If the amount is high, you should perhaps be a little suspicious and proceed with caution. Why do they want to pay in a cryptocurrency instead of converting it to money and paying you? Are they perhaps looking for anonymity? Does that matter for what you offer? Would that cause you any issue? And how volatile is the coin itself?
