Compact multi-port network setup (2.5G / 10G / SFP+) – looking for feedback

I’ve been experimenting with a compact multi-port network setup that combines 2.5G, 10G (RJ45), and SFP+ interfaces in one system.

Trying to understand how people typically structure networks when all these interface types are available at once.

For example: - Would you dedicate 10G links only for storage/uplink? - Where does SFP+ realistically fit outside of fiber-heavy setups? - Is it better to separate access and high-speed traffic strictly?

Would be interested in hearing how others approach this kind of setup.

I can share more details if helpful.

SFP+ fits everywhere use it when you can. RJ45 electrical 2.5G / 10G heat dissipation and power consumption is Very bAd.

Do you have photos of the hardware?
