Show HN: I built an AI thumbnail generator with a live editor, no login required

Hi HN, I'm the maker. I built this because I believe the biggest problem with most AI image tools is that they're a "black box." You get what the AI gives you, and if it's 90% right, you're stuck. My goal was to combine AI's speed with a creator's need for control. The core feature is the live editor that gives you the final say on everything. Under the hood, the workflow is designed to give you a better starting point than a simple text-to-image call. Here’s how it works: It first uses the YouTube API to find top-performing thumbnails for your topic. A Gemini model then analyzes those images to create a summary of what makes them successful (common layouts, colors, text styles). A second Gemini model uses that summary to write a highly-optimized, detailed prompt. That final prompt is sent to Pollinations.ai to generate the image, and a config file is created to pre-load all the text and styles directly into the Polotno editor for you. The idea is to generate something that's already in the ballpark of a high-CTR design before you even start editing. It’s completely free with no login required.
