Yeah, I clearly remember the day when bitcoin hit 37 cents. I thought, “this is interesting enough to make a $50 bet on.” I started looking into how to make a wallet and actually acquire s the BTC, and decided it wasn’t worth the time effort. That would have been about 3 hours, including a round trip to the closest bitcoin ATM.

The first big regret I thought of is kind of related: I wish I’d learned more about investing. I have a retirement account but that’s it, and when I had more disposable income I had no idea how to go about getting started.



The lesson is to gamble on things that are either a) fun like btc, or b) you personally see it as a viable product in the future.
