I recently came across redumper when trying to archive all of my old games, only to realize that there's no way to image the audio and data tracks into a single image with dd. I really hope that CD/DVD/BD-ROM images get better support, now that we're more likely to need them.
I'd love to be able to save the output of redumper into a single file and mount it, so it appears like a real drive.
