This isn’t new news! This is old news.

It comes as no surprise that they are deleting saved passwords in Microsoft Authenticator.

I moved away from using Microsoft Authenticator to save passwords first time it was announced they were moving saving passwords to Edge Wallet. And ditched Google Chrome.

Actually they aren't. They are just making them inaccessible in MA. The deletion is of /non/-"saved" (generated) passwords.

How you are disadvantaged by using Microsoft Authenticator.

Since when was using MA consenting to data deletion by MS? Never AIR. Yet: "Anyone using Microsoft Authenticator is being warned that “from August 2025, your saved passwords will no longer be accessible and any generated passwords not saved will be deleted.“"

Time to short MS, considering all the lawsuits awaiting them.
