I haven't read the article yet, and I'm pre registering my feeling that this is flag-worthy for the same reason I would find credulous discussion of perpetual motion or ESP flag-worthy. Extraordinary claims, etc. I don't recall Popular Mechanics being as trashy as say Phys.org but we'll see.
