Actually if my toaster stops working I do throw it in the trash because it’s cheaper to buy a new one than invest my time and money into a broken one.
The only reason people are calling you for service after is because there isn’t an easy viable alternative to your software.
So stop blaming your customers and do better testing :)
If you don’t, someone will make a better product than yours because there is opportunity in that marketplace
