'mold' not 'mould'


Mould is the English spelling of the American word mold. It is used in all of the same contexts.

Yeah, great trick, and it works for all other 'o' / 'ou' words too!

Except... "United Kingdom" only contains a U to the exact same extent as does "United States".


Agreed, it's not a very helpful suggestion, is it? Do United Arab Emirates and Uganda also spell colour with a u?


No idea about either, but: Uganda would be helpful (and hey, Idi Amin did claim the title "King of Scotland!" :-) -- but the UAE wouldn't, for the exact same reason as the UK: The "U" there stands for the exact same "United" as in UK / US.


If only it were spelled "crouwn" or "courounation" in Britain, that would help! But, alas.
