Show HN: AniTX – Platform for Anime (anitx.co)

Not sure if there are any anime fans here but thought of leaving it here anyways.

I don't like how hostile places like X or Reddit have become for Anime discussions, so I made a safe space for us anime lovers and artists to discuss anything about Japanese animations, Mangaka, and other interesting things.

The coolest feature on AniTX is probably the "Grid Editor". It is something I've always wanted it to exist but never seen them on any sites before. It basically lets you customize how you want the image grid layout for your post to look, here's a short showcase of it: https://youtu.be/Qe_wwIcMUqo

Also spoilers, omg. Those are what I disliked the most so I made sure to add a way for user to mark their image as a spoiler + give the spoiler a context so other people will know if it's safe to reveal or not. I think this is a nice way to do it.

Last thing I wanted to talk about is the concept of "Topics", which basically acts as a separation between different Anime communities like One Piece, Demon Slayer, or so. There are 3 types of Topic Anime/Manga/Game to keep it simple and each post can have multiple Topics assigned to it. Each Topics also has its own "Locally Trending" ecosystem as well using XLM-RoBERTa model to extract keywords from the posts.

Still have so much more cool stuff I wanted to discuss about but this post might be getting a little bit too long, you should be able to read more stuff on the landing page. If you guys have any questions about tech stack or anything let me know, I'll be happy to answer them.

You can view the entire site activites for fun here https://anitx.co/discover Thanks HN! I hope this is interesting enough to be posted here haha.
