Show HN: Gave Claude LSD SQL (github.com/lsd-so)

LSD SQL is a DSL for the web that can self-correct as an LLM traverses the internet. Here's what it looks like now that Claude is connected to the internet similar to OpenAI's Deep Researcher.

Check out @getlsd on Twitter to see some of our other work or see our website to view the docs https://lsd.so

Are you considering making your "Bicycle" extension open-source? I would only use it if I'm really sure there's nothing weird involved (giving access to all my website is too dangerous)

BTW have you looked at TabFS ? Could be a nice addition to your LSD idea https://github.com/osnr/TabFS

Am I getting this right?

  - LSD SQL is a way to query a webpage to extract data...sort of like BeautifulSoup
  - You can "give LSD to Claude" using Claude's model context protocol
  - Now Claude can use LSD to extract more relevant data from webpages and use it to answer questions

Yeah, looks like they're trying to gamify AI... nah.

Assume I'm not somewhere I can watch a video and that GitHub link is mostly "how to run this" not "what this does" (and the demo link is broken). Assuming this isn't a joke/hoax, is there an explanation in English of what this is supposed to do?

It gives Claude a new ability—allowing it to get data from any web URL using this structured query language. So web scraping of sorts.

All of the AI takeover doomsday scenarios begin with a careless human giving it access to the internet...

All the AI-in-a-box research turns out to be useless, because no one even bothers with the box.

Jeez, my first thought was acid is probably the last thing they need.

Seems disrespectful to Albert Hofmann to be honest

Cool work too btw
