I suppose I'm not the target market since I'm not a billionaire, but it's amazing how ugly these Saudi megaprojects manage to be.

The brief always seems to be "make it clear it cost over a million dollars to decorate this room" and not "make a pleasant space to be in"




The interiors of buildings associated with a certain US president invoked this exact feeling in me as well.


That being said they also never seem to actually build any of the things they announce so maybe it's just the 3d render artists being tasteless


Oh, they build some. Enough. I've been in million-dollars-spent-here locations myself.
