You know how soda tastes weird when you haven’t had sugary beverages for a couple weeks? Maybe it’s something like that.
More likely is that TikTok doesn’t want any negative PR right now.
TikTok thanked Trump for saving TikTok from the ban he said in motion, which was huge negative PR for zero gain. And this isn't just "no longer being used to TikTok after a few days":
