Almost every fourth Tesla Model 3 model year 2020 failed its periodic vehicle inspection in 2024. The popular model has defects in particular in the brakes, lights, wheels and steering, according to inspection data processed by FDM (the Danish AAA.)
The average failure rate across all brands is 9%.
