Seems to be well qualified as both a businessman, pilot and someone who has been in to space. I wonder what his position on SLS is though?

Seems like he wants to cut it and it will be hard because the Red majority wants it (lots of jobs in the South).

Seems like maybe the SLS++ could get canned. I am very curious to see what moves happen with this guy in charge.

Wonder if all his picks are going to get insulated like elon is from all his companies, ie they work better when he isn't paying them attention

"If you had to bet your house on it, when would you say the next boot prints show up on the moon?

Well, this is gonna sound pretty crazy, but I think we could land on the moon in less than two years."

Self driving only 2 years away, for a decade now.

Sorry Mario, your princess is just round the corner.

Full quote is this:

> “Well, this is gonna sound pretty crazy, but I think we could land on the moon in less than two years. Certainly with an uncrewed vehicle I believe we could land on the moon in two years. So then maybe within a year or two of that we could be sending crew. I would say four years at the outside.”

I think this was/is right. The US chose not to, and we are more risk averse than in the 60s, but we “could” have done it that quickly. Probably must do it anyway when the new Trump admin is throwing away SLS and requesting a new launch system for Orion from BO/SpaceX for a moon landing in 2027 (only three years away).

[in voice of Muppet show announcer] "billionares.... in.... SPACE!"
