Russia's War Economy Is Hitting Its Limits (foreignpolicy.com)

Russias capability of maintaining the war is collapsing, unfortunately western support for Ukraine is falling faster.

Yes, Russia (again, and for about tenth time) had lost the same war. Not sure how that works, but those are the facts.

Unfortunately the US is undergoing a collapse of willpower akin to the breakdown that lead to the (not so unfortunate) breakdown of the USSR.

The idea that the cold ear was won may have been premature. And Russia and Trump and Gabbard are here to speed us along towards that, to help make sure there is no dignity left standing in the end.

It blows my mind that the US elected a president that bows to the will of Putin. It’s just such an unthinkable scenario that if it was a plot point in a blockbuster movie it would be panned by critics.

Then you misunderstand Trump.

He isn't Putin's asset, and he isn't simply "bowing" to him.

He's courting him because he respects him, agrees on a certain level with his worldview, and thinks he can make common cause with him.

There’s the new line.

Yeah, things are bad (but not that bad) and we were wrong [that is, lied] the last six times but if we can just get Ukraine through 2025, Russia will definitely be exhausted. Pinky swear.
