I wonder if they’d have to pay on those contracts if the bettor is discovered to be participating in politics as a poll worker or lawyer for a campaign.
I assume for the lawyer it’d be treated like normal insider trading (ie contract settles, lawyer goes to prison). I’d be sceptical that a poll worker would have material inside information.
