Show HN: Algorithm to Predict Romance/Indian Languages from Latin/Sanskrit (harysdalvi.com)

This is a website that converts Latin/Sanskrit to modern Romance/Indian languages. The catch is, rather than a translation, it is purely based on deterministic phonological algorithms. Since linguists have determined fairly regular rules for these transformations, I thought why not code these rules into a computer?

While the result isn't perfect, it often works pretty well, and the cases where it fails sometimes give some insight into why a language evolved the way that it did.

Some Languages like konkani are more closer to rig vedic in respect to both features and words, and have very little classical Sanskrit as borrowed vocabulary.
