Don't save them, split them up and make them more agile. Too big to fil should not be allowed. "Oh but we need them for our defense/space stuff!!!" They can't make shit that works anymore, they have no reason to be this big.
This same complacency and smugness in Boeing's board is endemic in America's elites. Reality eventually bites, and the longer it takes the deeper the fangs will go.
