I've created an application that lets you read articles without ads + recommendation engine that picks 20 best articles for you to read everyday!

uuuffff.. so many questions :)

Title writes "Without Ads".

From your Privacy page: "- For marketing and advertising to offer updates on products or services that may interest you.To test, improve, update, monitor, diagnose, and fix our Services and technology."

So.... which one is it? Yes ads or No ads?

How can you make money from this? What are the criteria of "best articles"?

Will we all get the same 20 articles? I.e. I sometimes read the WSJ to find some article about a very specific topic (e.g. price of Oil impacted by military operations, etc.) Will I get a "pro-war" and someone else an "anti-war" article?

How could you (and/or your AI) do that without Profiling me?

What happens to that Profiling? Who will you sell the data to?

Will you set different pricing plans?

Even if we take the pricing plan, will you still sell our personal data/profiling (super sensitive under GDPR) to the millions of data brokers we are avoiding by not using FB and the likes?

EDIT: dude.. we come to HN for the dialogue and articles.. the 'democracy' of upvoting does an amazing job of keep topics interesting and diverse (the front page -now- has even topics/discussions about Ants farming fungi). How can you beat HN - especially with tracking/marketing/ads/NoPrivacy?

It seems to me that your questions are answered by that privacy policy.

Showing articles without ads is not the same thing as not showing ads at all.

They also explicitly say that they will profile you, are engaged with affiliate advertising networks, and will send you promotional emails and push notifications.
