Inquir is a search-as-a-service application designed to provide developers and enterprises with advanced search capabilities directly integrated into their applications. Built on the powerful search engine, Inquir simplifies the process of implementing sophisticated search functionalities, including real-time indexing, full-text search, and dynamic querying options.
Inquir deployes independent instances of search engines. Each "cluster" in Inquir is actually fully independent infrastructure that can be scaled independently. Currently as we are in MVP phase, only the smallest possible instance is deployed, like 1 cpu and 10gb of space.
i've seen similar services get really pricey once you hit a certain index size or query volume.
would love to hear more about your approach to keeping costs under control
