I got sick of the constant bombardment of US Political discourse, especially as I am not American, so I built an extension that blocks the top 200 words associated. You can add you own words to the mini DB, and toggle on and off etc.
not sure about you, but I don't really see much political stuff since I use adblocking (and don't really give a shit). When that fails, I mentally filter stuff out
No offense to you, but I won't install an extension unless it links back to its source code for auditing. Especially if that extension wants to read the page of every website I'm on.
