The fact that Republicans, after 50 years of preaching "free market solutions", are all in is a remarkable about face. What should we make of this abrupt departure from conservative dogma?
The Laissez-faire ideology is sometimes in good faith and sometimes just an angle to benefit certain groups. When the latter, it's not as much of an aboutface as it is sticking with the whole "socialism for the rich and capitalism for the poor".
