JSON Input for Medical Calculators (cliniborg.com)

I don't like dictating. Clicking and moving the mouse take my attention away from the patient. Just updating the JSON items is faster and I can save the JSON in the patient note and it will be faster the next time I see them. All information stays on local computer (HIPAA). Simple HTML calcs can be used offline. All code is public on GitHub.

A better point that escaped me last night when I submitted this is that JSON input could actually be a part of an improved workflow. The doctor makes a template using structured data from his or her electronic health record. The template output goes into the form as JSON input. The doctor then has information and recommendations for the patient. The doctor can save the information in the chart (including the JSON data) for comparison next time and as a record of what was discussed. That's a better selling point for this thing, I think.
