I am an operator in the startup space growing at what I think is fast (200%/year), but then I see companies like wiz.io get to 100M revenue in 18 months? Even with VC money, that is incredible. Does anyone have any inside story as to how this happened?
imho this is was caused by horrible change/patch management from the clients/businesses. Any company that has the mentality to test it's critical updates (Adobe Acrobat v2025-July - not critical, AV, sec-patches, and other stuff that run as "System" - super critical).
And/or/but/so yes, if you blindly push updates that could cripple your machines, you are doing a coin-toss, and sometimes it lands on the wrong side.
In my 20yrs of experience, Wiz is one of the best "off the shelf" cloud security tools you can buy and possibly the best ever made.
I don't work for Wiz, but I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone shopping for a solution off the shelf.
