With tech employees having lost so much negotiating power over the last couple years it has emboldened tech titans like Musk, Andreesen, Sacks, Thiel, YC's blocker in chief, etc. to loudly use their money and power to crush anyone to their left. Inequality at these levels is a huge threat to Democracy.
They want to support the guy who will let them continue to pump and dump crypto, and they're willing to risk the world's most powerful democracy for it.
I'm surprised that this isn't getting more traction. I hope that folks think about who they're working to make rich.
I for one am disgusted that the elite are lining up to support a guy who literally tried to throw democracy under the bus to protect their excessive fortunes.
