I filled it out. Today, my main use of optical media is that I still buy music CD's, typically from indie artists at their performances. On numerous occasions I've asked them how to buy their stuff, so that the money actually goes to them, and not to a middleman. The answer is always the same: "Buy the CD." Some of these artists are not super sophisticated about online distribution.
Then I take the CD home and rip it onto my NAS using a USB optical drive.
This is one of the things I find frustrating about computers/IT.
A person/artist wants to do a thing; not be near superhumanly technologically literate so as to be able to dodge the many ways of being ripped off while trying to maximise your outcome.
And yet, the modern world becomes more about this technological literacy every day.
So I understand when a musician simply says "Buy the CD here." It's so much easier in many ways.
None of my primary computers have a built in drive but I have an older computer that I don't use that has it (an old imac G4) so I answered "external".
I've used floppy disks more recently than optical media...
