Ask HN: Anybody have trouble with Cloudflare R2?

Found this disturbing comment on reddit:

"I'm on over a month. I've given up. We've already moved nigh on 2 terrabytes of R2 storage to a different provider. I can't risk it - So we paid an invoice (automatically) and it remained unpaid. The next month the invoice is wrong. Like double what it normally is, both tickets have not been answered. I think their invoicing / support system is completely broken, which is a terrible shame but I can't trust my small business data with them if they can't sort out their invoicing."

Wanted to migrate off AWS to Cloudflare but tidbits like this makes me ask questions.

Anybody using idrive and confirm the experience?

I can confirm the support experience, although we're not currently using R2. We are an Enterprise customer and have been trying since May 8th to get a downed Worker fixed (ticket filed as, "urgent"). Still no progress/response from level 2 support.

Can you share the ticket ID here and/or email me the details? silverlock@cloudflare

Thank you so much for reaching out. I've emailed you the case info.

this is simply unacceptable

This should not be the normal experience. Want to drop me an email - silverlock@cloudflare - and I will have the team look into it ASAP.

(I lead our storage & DB product teams here at CF)

sorry but this wasn't my issue it was somebody elses and i dont know their email

all in all we see a bunch of these long tail anecdotes outside YC and we decided against using Cloudflare apart from the generous firewall
