Hybrid Basic/ASM Programs on Commodore 64 (c64os.com)

Never felt like files were something that the C64 was especially good at. Sure, these days I too build lots of little tools and manipulate files an what not, on Linux. Back in the day though, on the 64, used to roll with not much beyond the old "DOS wedge" and Butterfield's "supermon", the one that let you assemble/disassemble interactively, and pretty much hacked things live in memory. Files were just for saving off blocks of memory for next time. But then, I never attempted anything very elaborate, and then the allure of that 8088 box with the 'real' drives kind of curtailed my 64 experiments.
