I still have not found a mail client that handles large (1M+) mailboxes as well as Opera 12 did. It even had an instant indexed fulltext search. I remember thunderbird getting ill while importing kernel mailing list archives. Is there anything comparable to Opera 12 now?
thunderbird was the bees knees back then. Only 5 years later mozilla started making decisions which wrecked them.
