Not only has Microsoft put a button that opens Edge in the taskbar, but that button opens on hover.
Their anticompetitive practices are getting more ridiculous by the day. When I tell you I want to use Firefox, stop asking me if I want to use Edge on every update. Stop breaking Firefox from making a one-click set default button like you do. Stop adding a button which was clearly designed badly as yet another way to force Edge on us. And now stop changing the fundamental UX design of Windows to trick me into opening Edge.
This is ridiculous. I should have switched to Linux as my daily driver a long time ago.
