I recently purchased new security cameras on Amazon. I used to have Amazon Cloud Cams, but Amazon discontinued supporting them and essentially made them useless. I’m a tech hoarder so I kept them in my box of future projects I will never work on. I wasn’t too angry because they sent me free Blink cameras to replace them.

Anyway, I just wanted to highlight that Amazon offered me $5 to ship my old Cloud Cams back to them. Not sure what they are going to do with them, hopefully recycle them somehow. But I think it’s worth highlighting that companies SHOULD be doing this and collecting old tech to reduce waste. So kudos.
