Hey HN! We're super excited to share our labor of love, Jumprun, which we've just opened up to everyone to try for free.

Jumprun is an AI-powered research tool that whips up stunning, interactive canvases. It can dive into websites, YouTube, X, and more. You can keep your canvases fresh with scheduled daily updates, and share them with the world.

Check out some cool canvases we've whipped up:

- Gleam language news: https://jumprun.ai/share/canvas/01HSM7G0TBYTJWDYRFET16DFJQ - Cybertruck reviews: https://jumprun.ai/share/canvas/01HSKTGQEGB58Y1BABY0KRRAQ0 - Apple Vision Pro reviews: https://jumprun.ai/share/canvas/01HNXB2K3GM7KPRP45Y2CVVJSC - Things to do in San Francisco: https://jumprun.ai/share/canvas/01HSPRS3YXXJ9TV90P18MBZRPS

Jumprun was in closed beta for a bit because GPT4-Turbo was burning a hole in our pockets. But when Anthropic dropped Claude3 Haiku and Sonnet, we saw an opportunity to use them to slash costs and get Jumprun out to all of you. We're now rocking Haiku for research and Sonnet for the final "analysis," and the results are pretty great. We even think they might be better than GPT4-Turbo!

If you've got any technical questions, fire away! We're currently trying to nail down product-market fit and figure out where to focus re: features and use cases. We'd love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks a ton! - Ben and Rico

I’ve been waiting for something like Miro thats built, augmented and updated via AI.

Something that lays out the responses to my prompts, as research, and then I can interact with as a whole.

This seems like some of those ideas, but not others.

Cool to see it. What’s the direction here?

I have built something like that, just never polished it. What would your usecase be like? I might work more on it in the next 2 weeks. It's the base for a product im building but if it helps others i might publish it. Usually things like that die a lonely death on my disk after some time

Here's my attempt at what you're describing: pdfmindmap.com.

I recently made the MVP and would love feedback. PM me if you need more credits.

Took two tries for it to sign me up through my google log in. First one just didn't take for whatever reason.

I initially loaded a PDF, did the sign up thing, but then it completely lost what I had uploaded. Ok, no problem, try again, but after signing in it says failed. It didn't say failed before. Now I can't do anything with it. Can't even delete it.

The whole "order placed" popup is a little on-the-nose. Feels weird.

Thanks for giving it a spin and providing detailed feedback!

I've followed up via email with a fix!

OP here - feel free to ask any questions. We are still trying to figure out what direction to take Jumprun in from here and would love your feedback and ideas. Thanks!

If anyone was trying it out, we just had an issue with one of our backend services hitting a usage limit. All fixed now so if you had a failed refresh please try again.

Seems a lot like perplexity, how would you differentiate

Very cool!
